September 8, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Please join us at Kaimuki Library for a presentation about how to prepare for the arrival of the next hurricane.  Our Speaker, Brigadier General Bruce Oliveira, will discuss what the impact of such a hurricane could be to Kaimuki, and how to create a plan and set of supplies to see you safely through a storm like Hurricane Lane.  This plan can also be used for other emergencies, such as tsunamis, earthquakes, or major power outages.  There will be informational pamphlets available and time for questions at the end of the presentation.

If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date.  We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations.  All programs are subject to change.
