International Dot Day: Celebrating a child’s imagination

September 18, 2019 @ 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

dot paint

The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds encourages youngsters to explore art with a simple dot. A girl believes she has no artistic talent until her teacher pins up her dot with a golden frame around it. She is inspired to create more dots, leading to her art work being showcased in the school’s art show.

We celebrate kid’s artistic imagination with others around the world on this special day. Participants use qtips to paint dots and create magnificent artwork. Participants also use markers to complete their amazing pictures.

Program is suitable for ages 5 and up.
