The second Thursday of every month, the Honoka`a Library hosts the Hamakua Friends of the Library Book Club.

Open to all, this meeting will discuss Richard Powers’ The Overstory. “The Overstory is a book for all readers who despair of humanity’s self-imposed separation from the rest of creation and who hope for the transformative, regenerating possibility of a homecoming.”
