How to Write a Family History

July 23, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

drawing of green tree filled with spherical fruit

Learn how one family discovered its own history–finding stories of war, murder, financial disaster, financial boon, struggle and triumph–and wrote a book that their future generations can read and use as a resource to trace their ancestry back to three brothers from Japan who settled in Honolulu at the turn of the 20th Century.

Presented by Allen Awaya, editor of From Kaminoseki to Honolulu.

If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date. We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations. All programs are subject to change.
