Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement, will be featured at the Hawaii State Library in August 2019. Ikebana International Honolulu Chapter 56 is hosting two exhibitions on August 1-3 and August 8-10. The exhibitions will be open to the public in the Lobby and First Floor Reading Room during library hours. In addition, children and adults are invited to a Make and Take ikebana event on August 3rd at noon in the library’s courtyard.
