You are invited to attend a free informative presentation about the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), a non-profit organization designed to provide leadership skills, aerospace education, and emergency services training for teenagers. Lucia Dauchy, CAP Senior Member, will be our presenter. The CAP experience for teens, who are between 12-18 years old, teaches important life principles that can contribute to future success in many ways, such as personal growth and the pursuit of careers in commercial or military aviation, and medical rescue services. The core values taught in the CAP program are integrity, service, excellence and respect. The Civil Air Patrol is the place where some teens fly planes before they are old enough to drive cars. Find out what all the excitement is about!
Ms. Dauchy is a volunteer administrative assistant at the Civil Air Patrol-Kona Composite Squadron (CAP-KCS). She works with the CAP-KCS Team to provide initial flight instruction for cadets that can lead to careers in aviation. She also is the curator of the CAP-KCS Library. She encourages Kona teens to utilize the CAP resources to advance their aeronautical education. Ms. Dauchy is a graduate of UH-West O’ahu.
