Nebulae, clouds of gas and dust in space, are an out-of-this-world, colorful wonder to behold! Build and capture your own unique nebula in a glass jar, using water, paint, cotton balls, and glitter. Supplies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
This craft is suitable for children heading into Kindergarten-5th grade. Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. In an effort to reduce waste and reuse items, community members are invited to donate clean glass jars with lids (12 ounce jars preferred) to the library. Please drop them off with the Children’s Librarian by Tuesday, June 11. We hope to see you there!
This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Libraries, Kona (F.O.L.K.).
