In Celebration of the 2019 Summer Reading Program!
Jeff Peterson will perform guitar tunes that celebrate Polynesian navigation, the Haleakalā mountain, the Aurora Borealis, and play original music including “Hawaiian Skies” from “The Descendants” film soundtrack. Jeff will also share stories of his grandfather who was a lecturer at the Bishop Museum Planetarium.
Jeff was born on Maui and introduced to the rich heritage of Hawaiian music by his father on the Haleakalā Ranch. He has contributed to two Grammy Award-winning recordings and has been honored with nine Na Hōkū Hanohano Awards.
