Ramana Vieira has been called a “rising star in World Music” by the San Francisco Examiner.  She headlined the world’s largest Portuguese festival, and one of her original songs, “Unido Para Amar,” was played during the 2006 Winter Olympics opening Ceremony.  Her opening track “Cabo Verde,” was nominated as Best World Music Song at the 2015 International Portuguese Music Awards, and the following year  she was nominated for best fado.
