Did you know that up to 400,000 Americans die each year from an error or infection at a hospital? Consumers are often left in the dark about the record of who is treating us and if the drug, treatment, surgery or even the facility where all this occurs is even safe.
Consumer Reports (CR) Community Facilitator Stan Greenbaum will present a workshop to inform community members how to avoid medical harm, how to use CR’s hospital ratings, and how to have transparent conversations with providers before, during and after treatment to avoid unnecessary and costly treatments and tests.

Note: This workshop is free to the public, and registration is required due to space limitations.
