Join us for our next book club meeting where we will discuss The Girl from Everywhere by Heidi Heilig.  This “debut teen fantasy sweeps from modern-day New York City, to nineteenth century Hawaii, to places of myth and legend.  The first of two books, this novel blends fantasy, history and a modern sensibility.  Its witty, fast-paced dialogue, breathless adventure, multicultural cast and enchanting romance will dazzle fans of Sabaa Tahir, Rae Carson, and Rachel Hartman.” (from the Publisher) This book is available in print and ebook formats through the Hawaii State Public Library System.

Our bi-monthly book club meets in the Kaimuki Library Meeting Room on the ground level of the library.

In April, our book club pick will be Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng.  This title is available in print, audiobook and ebook formats.

Program schedule is subject to change.  Contact the library at least 10 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or if special accommodations are needed.
